With advances in sensing technology, ‘big data’ is becoming increasingly accessible. One of the challenges for sustainable societal development lies in determining how efficiently this big data can be utilized. Our company is proactively engaging in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for the utilization of big data in the fields of resource exploration and monitoring. We are committed to building sustainable and progressive systems by mechanizing and automating processes that have traditionally been carried out manually.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is expected to serve as an alternative solution to issues that are difficult to address through the straightforward allocation of human resources. In our services, we are conducting proof-of-concept projects on the application of AI technology in such areas as first-break of seismic waveform picking, velocity analysis using the reflection method, identification of oil slicks using satellite data, and geological interpretation of three-dimensional seismic exploration data. This aims to address significantly increasing data volumes, oversights, and variations in quality.
